John lounged on the couch. He looked at the engraved sign that imparted the lounge’s name, Desert Watch. No one came here in the afternoon, which made it the perfect place to prepare himself for the presentation.

Yet a testament to man’s skill stood tall to it’s fury. Near the storm's center sat a lone monolith. A bleak reminder of some long ago race, it stood valiantly against the assailing winds. This monolith was a giant stone column, years of ancient writing lay on the weathered sides. It rose up high from the battering seas, it's crest nearing the roiling clouds.
And there… Was a lone figure… The wind battered at it's cloak, the water drove mercilessly
